this looks like a fun target, cheap or DIY

Re: this looks like a fun target, cheap or DIY

Only one problem, the angle of the bullet deflection changes with every shot.
This makes it extremely difficult to ensure that errant ricochets don't occur.
(Shooting .22s with a suppressor really makes you notice where those bullets are going after impact.)

If you want a reactive target like that, the "self healing" ones are much more appropriate.

There about the same price as that steel thingy as well.

looks like a lot of fun, like how it moves around and always has a target upright, unlike golf balls that always bounce too far and hide under stuff

I have the round version of this and if you have some flat ground to shoot it on you can even back sping and side spin it depending on where you hit it. Could even play shooting golf.

I've got one for my .22, it's a great little target to play with at 100y. It holds up really well, it's definitely worth the $20, and shipping is free.

Shooting Jacks, thats pretty damn cool. Would be fun to set them all up at different unknown distances and really work on your skills.
