This primer caught my attention

Looks like they put extra Loctite in there.... ....I set it off to the side and finished the last few. I have never seen anything quite like that before. Stuck out like turd in a punchbowl (classic movie reference..) Any thoughts from the goon squad..?

I’ve seen this on most of the GM215M primers I have (could be the lots I’ve stocked up). I sort them and use the normal looking ones on the loads I really care about. I emailed Federal about it and here is their response. Hope this helps.
