Thoughts on a 20” barrel on a 6.5cm

Found a tacops Delta 51 rifle that I’m extremely interested in. It’s chambered in 6.5cm and has a 20” barrel. My gun range is 600m and I will be running a 9” suppressor at all times. What am I giving up with the 20” barrel, over a 24/26? Is a couple hundred fps worth being concerned over at 600m?

Thanks

My 16" 6.5 is still supersonic at 1000...you will be fine.

I have a 6.5 Creed that I run suppressed with a 22" barrel. I will be cutting it down to 18". Should still be plenty fast enough with a good load.

Go on and cut it to 16.5" and call it a day. You won't be giving up much, and you'll still be fine at 1,000.

I had a 20” 6.5 CM done and ordered a 20” Delta-51 in .308 after. I really like the weight and balance of the 20” barrel for GP use. My 6.5 runs around 2800-2825 fps with 130s and 2600-2625 fps with 140s. More than fine to 600 yds. My Delta-51 is my most accurate rifle… just an amazing stick. Wouldn’t hesitate if you’re interested.
