Gunsmithing Thoughts on a Logan 1810 lathe?

So I’m looking to learn the side of gunsmithing that requires a lathe and have a chance at getting a Logan 1810 which appears to be in good condition. What are y’alls thoughts on that as a unit for me to learn on?

Much to small and light for barrel work. The spindle has a 25/32" hole and only 24" between centers If it's just for tinkering around it might work.

Just a suggestion. look at your local community college for classes. A little bit of knowledge goes a long way.
