Has anyone mounted a thumb rest or something similar on chassis/frame/stock similar to the B14? I know they make them to mount to MPA chassis’s and picatinny rails. But I will need to drill holes and mount. I want something to grab on to and pinch my shooting bag when shooting from an obstacle during comps. For more stability. Just wondering if anyone out there modified something on their chassis similar to the B14 style? Thanks.

Grey ops makes a m-lok thumb rest. You could also prob direct drill and tap for screws. When you say chassis, frame, stock that's a very broad spectrum of possibilities.

Yep I’ve been looking at that one. This is my stock that I’m working with. Standard furniture that doesn’t allow for any attachments.

I suggest getting a 1/2" square channel piece of aluminum, inlet and epxoy bed it inside the barrel channel favoring the left side of the stock where you want it. The drill from the left side and tap the aluminum you installed. Then get some longer screws and install the thumb rest. Or find some inside threaded dowells, and drill and expoxtly them horizontally into the stock for the rest to be screwed into. Other option, get a chassis with mlok attachments and sell the hmr stock. The bergara bmp chassis used to be sold for pretty cheap but believe it's been discontinued. They're actually pretty decent for the money if you can find one.
I had a 700 in a bmp chassis. It was a damn nice chassis for the money. I regret selling it
