Thumler motor question

Hello Guys,
I recently purchased a used Thumlers tumbler to tumble with stainless media. The old motor works fine but I am considering going to the high speed (3000 rpm) motor that is on their new high speed model B. I am thinking that the extra power and rpm might be better and clean the brass faster.I would really appreciate it if someone would give me the info off their newer Model B tumbler motor. It will help me to source an affordable replacement. For those of you already using the stainless media in your tumbler maybe you can tell me if the benefit is worth the cost. Thank You, Jim

Just contact Thumlers! 1-800-225-1017.

Tell them what you have and you would like the high speed motor and they will hook you up! I beleive they are aroudn $55.

And pack the other motor away as a back up!

The high speed motor does clean faster! How fast? 3-4hr tumble versus 6-8hr. I have both versions!

The slow speed I load at 11:00pm and unload at 6am before work.

The same results are to be had. If you have the low speed soaking prior to tumble will help.
