tight barrel

Have a cadex defense tremor 50 with bartlein barrel. Just got the rifle. Shooting hornady 750gr match. box says 2800 plus velocity. But only getting high 2500's and low 2600's velocity on chronograph. Its probably obvious but is it due to it being a tight barrel? or is there another factor. Thanks for input

A tight barrel would be indicated by pressure signs and faster speeds I would imagine. Factory ammo speeds are a guideline, not end all be all. They vary. I would reach out to @Cadex Defence who is on the hide. Maybe they can explain why it's slower.

That stated velocity is from a 36" barrel.

ETA:
A ~200 fps loss to a 29" barrel is in the ballpark.

A tight barrel would make it faster, not slower.
