I've been looking at an aftermarket handle for my Tikka, specifically the Sterk handle. I have the CTR model and found the plastic ball that comes on those handles to be too big. I felt that it just got in my way so I'm not crazy about hanging big knobs on my bolt but the swept back feature is what is attracting me to the Sterk. Any likes or dislikes by actual users would be appreciated.

Good Morning, I just switched mine out on my T3x Tac A1 and couldn't be happier, there really is a noticeable feel and difference using the Sterk, albeit not a big one. Quality, and fit and finish is "top shelf" and customer service is 10/10, I ordered mine from AU , so I had a bit of a wait, but John delivered on time. I also replaced the factory shroud with his unit as well. Hope this helps. Cheers

Thanks- So you feel that the swept back handle is easier to grab? My main complaint with the factory CTR knob is that I ran the safety with my index (trigger) finger and I felt like I had to then move my finger a long ways around the large handle ball just to get it back on the trigger. Thoughts on that from your experience with the Sterk? Sorry to keep asking you for answers that are largely subjective but spending over $100 on something that I won't like is something that I would prefer to avoid.

Thanks for the compliments guys, you have all answered the usability side of it probably better than I could myself (and avoid tooting my own horn looking like a twat).
@SWWI Shooter it can come down to personal preference - shooting styles differ, tastes differ and we aren't all built the same.
The handle/knob is as long and as short as it can be - any shorter and there's no point, any longer and it will be in the way of your trigger finger. It's by far the most popular handle that people order.

PS. Endorsed by Frank - they must be alright!

Thanks. Will have need to explore them more.
