Tikka Carbon 300 Saum build? I got (?)'s

So I am thinking about building a lightweight gun. I am specifically looking for a .30 caliber.

I am looking to build a Saum or WSM

My question is, I know the 300 win mags in Tikkas are really short, so are the WSM ones the same? For example, can I load and reliably feed a Saum or WSM out of MDT, Accurate or AICS mags. I am looking to load 200 grain eldx

I really wanted to build a 300 win mag, ( I already have the dies brass and bullets) but the action is just not long enough. I don't want to have to mill out the receiver for this build


To be honest, I am looking to put some type of pre-fit carbon fiber barrel on the action.

My ideal situation is to have a tikka action carbon barrel, a lightweight stock with an AICS style magazine.

You should be ok with the 200gr ELD-X in a WSM.

If your go through the Fix thread there are photos of this cartridge and bullet combo in an SR25 magazine that is shorter than AICS magazines.
