Tikka CTR Bottom Metal Upgrade

So I'm watching a video from Mountain Tactical on their new bottom metal for the Tikka CTR that allows the use of Magpul magazines. I thought that would be a good upgrade so I go to their website and in the FAQ it states that the bottom metal is not compatible with the CTR. I'm trying to call them but their office hours are very limited and all their calls go to voice message. I kinda like the idea of being able to use $39 magazines in my CTR.
Anyone have experience with this?

In that video he clearly states it is a modified magpul magazine.

Magpuls will not fit the Tikka action without sanding down the feedlips, they are too thick.
They were designed around Rem 700 actions
It's not worth the headache to save a few bucks......
