I swapped my Tikka 300 WM from a chassis to a McMillan stock. I’ve since had feeding issues and have to feed one round at a time. The bottom metal only accepts the 3.715 mags but it seems like the feed lips are too long and the back of the cartridge near the belt drops below the bolt as it’s being chambered. Do you think the feed lips need to be trimmed on the3.715? I held the 3.65 in place and it cycled. Or do the make a bottom metal that will take the 3.65 mags? Any advice? I’m getting tired of messing with it.
