Tikka M55 Opti-lock question

Sorry for what might seem like a stupid question but I can not tell something important from the pictures of the optilock bases.

I've seen other people suggest the Weaver #61 base for mounting a scope to this action but my receiver does not have the screw holes necessary to do this, so my question is do the Optilock bases require a screw to go into the action from the top, or does the side tension screw hold it in tight?

Optilock bases clamp down to the dovetail with screw tension from the side and they also have a stud on the front mount which serves as a stop engaging the slot in the top of the action.

Unfortunately this gun doesn't seem to have the limiter slot in the action either, I wonder how early of a model this gun is.
