Tikka specs on Compact Lite .223

My Google Fu is weak. Looking for the specs on the barrel thickness on this gun.


Hoping to thread a 5/8x24 silencer on it, but the light barrel doesn't make me confident it'll work.

I had the .308 and .243 T3 lite barrels and there is not enough meat there to thread 5./8-24 on those barrels. Since they are a larger barrel, I would guess that it wouldn't work, but don't know for sure.

I can use 1/2x28 as it's a .223 as well, but the 5/8x24 matches most of what I have without a mount/adapter.
