I will be putting a 50mm scope on this and I’m 6’3” so length of pull and comb are important.

Which rifle would be more accurate straight out of the box?

Please comment on things like trigger adjustability, company customer service and quality of rifle.

Looking to shoot very small groups and shoot PRS matches from time to time out to 300 yards.

What ever I buy I will be sending to LAPUA or ELey to match best LOT of ammo available.

Thanks.

Might want to wait to see how the 457 is.

Between the two you said, I would lean towards the tikka. I own a 455 and like it but from the initial reports the tikka looks good and you can use triggers from your t3

I’m 6’3” and have a T1x .17hmr. I added a Limbsaver recoil pad to increase lop to match my other 2 Tikka centerfire rifles. Trigger and all other parts seem to be equal quality. A $10 spring upgrade makes a very good trigger great. I have DNZ mounts on 2 Tikkas with 42mm and 56mm scopes. I also swapped the grip to the vertical one and prefer it. Shoots great. I’ll get one in .22 soon, hope they do a 16” barrel.

I'm 6' 3" as well, and this fits great.

As a 455 owner, I say get the Tikka or wait for the 457. If I could get a do-over I would get the T1X just because a T3 trigger could be used on it.

I emailed Timney and asked if their 2 stage T3X trigger would work on a T1X, and they wrote back that it would not. Do you have knowledge otherwise?

Thanks for your reply’s.
When is the CZ 457 due to be released?
And do you know will the Varmint Precision Trainer with the Manners stock be available?
Don’t necessarily like the camo color but the Manners stock is nice.....
