I'm curious if anyone's built on a Tikka T3, or can recommend someone who can? Was there much truing work done to the action? Did you switch to a standard recoil lug? What diameter barrel fits best to the receiver? Thanks in advance.
Chad Dixon is doing my rebuild on my T3 lite .243 win. He's going to true the action, face off the recess on the receiver and put a custom recoil lug on it that's contoured to the outside of the receiver, 24" SS Brux barrel and McMillian stock.
My tikka t3 is at my smiths right now. Getting a new barrel screwed on and getting chambered for .260, some flutes, adjusting the factory trigger, new manners eht stock, face off and add a real recoil lug.
