tikka t3 hunter, rail install?

I have a tikka t3 hunter in 300 win mag, it has the attached rings and i wanted to put a rail on it. I have a 20moa egw tikka t3 rail already. I have a american defense sl mount (shortest one) that i plan on mounting on it. Should iput a rail on? How hard is it? Am i better off without a rail? Thanks, any advice is appreciated

The stock rings are not good enough for 300WM. Adding a rail is easy. Follow the torque value recommend by EGW. I use blue loctite but that's me.

I looked at I a little last night and seems easy. Thanks for the info that stock rings aren't enough.
