I have just recieve my T3 back from the smith, i gave him free run ad just said make me a break and fit it. What ended up being done was

-threrad the barrel
-hand make the break
-crown job
-soda blast the break and barrel for a better match

it was always a shooter before it was sent off (sub MOA) but today after racing back home with it and taking out 8 rounds (varget 44.5gr,remington brass, cci primers, sierra gameking 165gr) to site the rifle in and to have a play, boy was i a happy camper

4 shots to site it in and 4 "real" shot at 100 yards one was a flyer on my behalf but the final group measured .550 inch center to center, and the three good shots measured just under .3 inch center to center, i dont have pics of the group but i wish i did

but when the rain and bad weahter stop and get more time off of work i can get out and shoot and develop a load i will post up some pics, as for now some rushed pics of the rifle will have to do

nikostirling NPT41650 LRX

4>16 X 50mm + shade

its only a $350 Au scope but it hold up well with the night force unimount base.

Scope:
http://www.nikkostirling.com/Content/PlatinumNighteater/Nighteater.htm (look for 4X16 X50 on the right) i got it for the LRX reticule + mine has more target style turrents wich make it super easy to dial in

Base:

hey mate i have that scope on my sps tac, not bad, i got it in a deal with the rifle and it hasnt broken yet so i havent changed it, but as soon as my group cert gets here im off on the nightforce train...

only problem is resetting the turrets is hit and miss with whether the lines match up afterwards. lol

cheers mate, jimi

also, if its not to rude to ask, how much did the smith work cost, im after getting my .223 threaded and perhaps my 308 too but have no idea on price in aus

cheers
