Tikka T3x CTR - glass bedding!?

Hey guys,
I want to do a glass bedding job on my Tikka CTR and wanted to ask, which area has to be bedded.

Of course in the rear where the action screw sits and at the front action screw to recoil lug, but what about the barrel?

I´ve seen different guys bed a part of the barrel too, but on the other hand some really high-prized rifles don´t support the barrel at all.

So, what is the way to go?

what stock are you bedding?

I bed around the lug (removing some material) and the tang. I've never bedded, or had a smith bed a barrel channel.

Tikka T3x CTR synthetic stock.

Well, some bed the whole system (what is a looot of work), some only lug and tang area, and some are bedding a bit of the barrel (1 or 2"?) right at the receiver, too.

Which way brings the best result?

I dont do any bedding material in front of the recoil lug because if you swap barrels you might just have to cut it all out anyways. And you wont be any worse for the wear not bedding the barrel at all. Should all be free floated if you ask me.
