For years, I've been able to find the info I need from existing threads, but I've finally made a problem that I havent found someone else try. I am considering purchasing a .308 Win T3x Super Varmint. I have plans to turn it into the following abomination:
1. replace the regular green stock with a woox stock (was initially liking superleggera, but since I'm already getting a beast of a barrel, might go with a cobra).
2. Replace the bottom metal to the CTR to accept the 10 round mags.
I am still gathering data to confirm if the heavy barrel will interfere with the woox stock, but assuming it doesn't, would this in theory work? I am seeing stuff about certain chassis replacing the bottom metal, so if I got the CTR woox stock, would I still need the bottom metal? Am I just opening a can of worms that isn't worth the trouble? Lol.
