Tikka T3X Tac A1 Grip Change

Soooo, I've been thinking about changing to the Ergo flat top Tactical deluxe grip, and I was wondering if anyone has done this? and if it worked? also was it a straight R&R or were "mods" needed to be done? Lastly how did it feel over the stock grip? better or worse? Thanks in advance

Most flat top AR-15 grips fit. I know the Ergo and MPA do.

Can't speak to the Ergo grip specifically but I've swapped out the grip on mine 3x (BCM, MDT, now Anarchy) and have had to re-tap the threads 2x. Last re-tap lived through 2 swaps so hopefully it lasts.

Seems like my soft aluminum has been the exception and not the rule though
