Recently purchased a Tikka T3x Varmint in 6.5 CM, 24” barrel. Long time hunter, recreational shooter but this is first rifle purchased for LR. Will probably go NF NXS optic. Being a recreational shooter, just retired, may consider some competitive shooting, not sure. I’m trying to decide on KRG Bravo vs McMillan A6. I know the A6 is 3X the cost, just not sure the extra cost is 3X the performance? May upgrade the barrel to a M24 contour in near future. Thoughts?

People seem really happy with the bravo. I have not used one, but krg makes good stuff. The bigger debate is probably stock vs full aluminum chassis.
The tikka barrel is typically quite accurate. I’d shoot that for a while and you can see what you might like after getting a feel for it. Seems like most prs folks are running very heavy 26-28” barrels in 6mm.

Both my Tikka's are awesome from the factory. Tikka barrels are cold hammer forged, very accurate, and will last a long time... maybe longer than what the standard round could for button or cut-rifled barrels. I bought my 7mm RemMag Tikka used with an unknown round count. I've put 1000-1200 round through it and it's still accurate as the day I got it... really says something about the barrel life for a cartridge known for being rough on barrels like the 7mm RemMag.
