Tikka t3x+XLR element-Magpul AICS mags won't fully seat

Anyone know if this is related to the chassis only or the action? I saw some threads on modifying magpul mags to work with the standard CTR stock, but I was hoping I'd be good to go with the XLR chassis. It looks like the feed lips are bottoming out on the action, the bolt just barely grazes the top of the round.

I should have searched first, looks like this is purely the mag+action, someone on ar15.com had the same issue with an MDT chassis. The magpul feed lips are the issue.

Yep. Gotta sand them down a bit and they work fine.

Wait till you get in a scenario where you have to rest your rifle on your mag to shoot. The PMAGs will jam up into the action and make it really hard to work the bolt.

Yeah I modified mine with almost a verticle cut since its the width of the feed lips that are too wide. I did it in iterations until it just barely locked in and I left a horizontal shelf almost for the mag to bottom out on. I need to take a bit more off, it works fine with ~5 rounds but a full mag won't seat all the way.
