Tikka Tac A1 Chassis

Can anyone tell me if this is a barrel nut on a Tac A1? Part # 10, Had a friend buy a chassis from a guy here on the hide and didn't get the # 10 item. Was told you could drop a Ctr barreled action right in the tac a1 chassis.

I sold my tac a1 chassis as well. Disassembled it myself, and it only comes with one ring that attaches to the front of the receiver for the hand guard to bolt to - not 3 like in the picture. It is also smooth and is not a barrel nut of any kind. It’s sole purpose is to give the hand guard something to bolt to. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I knew it only came with 1 out of the 3, different configurations.

Maybe the dude forgot to pack it, or lost it. I can't imagine why anyone would want to keep it. If that is what happened.

Got it all figured out, he didn't think it went with it. It's now in the mail.
