This may sound insane, but Im thinking of selling my Tikka T3 Tactical to fund a Savage switch-barrel build. What are these rifle worth? I know a new one is $13-1500. Its in good shape 250 rounds down the tube. Its been used but not abused, so there are some marks etc on it. And it shoots .5MOA out to 400yds. I havent shot past that yet.Thanks in advance.

If 24" its worth more and also more if you have the break. I would say $850 to 975 and possibly more if you peddle it on GB ( i say this from my standpoint as an FFL)
That said keep I hope never to sell mine and consider it the best 308 bolt gun for the money. 1st time I have ever considered rebarreling an option

I had a well built Tikka .308 that I couldn't give away. It wasn't a Tactical but it may as well have been. Manners stock, rail, thread with brake, nice DBM. Ended up selling the stock, saving the DBM, putting the rest of the gun back in the factory stock and selling it that way. I'd say 900 or so and that might be a stretch. I sure as hell wouldn't sell a Tikka to buy a Savage.

i concur i would keep the tikka, but if you do want to sell they arent worth as much on the hide as they are on gb but you don't have to pay fees. either way i would say 800-1000.
