Been shooting 6s and 6.5s in PRS for several years. Bought a 5R 300 winmag...... looking for some advice on loads that might do double duty for long range and pig shooting at 800+

Rifle is 26"
Threaded and will be running a can

Have some 215hybrids to try.... anything else worth a look?

I bought a Remington 700 Police in 300 win mag last autumn and it has been an awesome rifle so far.
I started out with Hornady 212 grain ELD-X and took them to 1090 meters, I am sure that they are up for longer distances but I have not found the opportunity yet. I would not hesitate to use that bullet on pigs or any other game for that matter. Although I have not been on a hunt with my win mag, yet.
Right now I am trying out the Lapua 220 grain Scenar L, 74,6 grains of VV N170 powder and Norma brass, seems to do the trick with 89mm COL.

I have excellent results in three different 300 WM rifles. 215 Hybrids, 76 grains of H1000 and CCI LRM primers in Norma brass. All three rifles shot so well with the bullets .020" off the lands that I never ran a seating depth test .

Work up to max in your rifle , the ones I've worked with all started to show pressure at 77 grains .
