I put a 510 in a 700 yesterday and I noticed the sear seems to be putting a lot of upward pressure on the bolt.
Anybody ever notice this?
I have one other Timney and the bolt is smooth as silk on that action.

Yes, it happens often. They have a heavy sear bar reset spring and with some combinations/tolerances the sear bar sits a little high causing excessive drag. Taking .005" of the top of the sear bar usually solves the drag issue.
