Thank You! What height rings is everyone going to use? My optic will be a vortex 6-24x50 ffp or 4-16x50 ffp
I've have a CTR I bought last year and put a Bushnell 3-12 x 44 with medium Seekins rings perfect fit

Nomad could we get you to measure the rail for us? I will be putting a 56mm objective scope on mine so this would help getting the correct rings. Thanks in advance!
I was incorrect I found the invoice for the rings they are Seekins Low... If you look at the link I posted earlier Glen Seekins gives a formula for determining the rings needed for a given objective lens size. 56mm objective = medium rings
I have a Tikka T3 Varmint .308 (should have same dimensions as the new CTR) and here is what I have tried with rings.
EGW 0 MOA base, Bushnell 2.5-16x50, Seekins .82" low 30mm rings: This setup cleared just fine but did not leave a lot of extra room for scope caps. The butler creek caps would have fit but thicker caps like the Aadland would have been close.
Mountain Tactical 20 MOA base, Nightforce 3.5-15x50, Seekins .82" low 30mm rings: The scope cleared the barrel but just barely. No room for any scope caps and was too close for comfort.
Mountain Tactical 20 MOA base, Nightforce 3.5-15x50, Seekins .87" medium rings: Fits great with room for Aadland caps which are about .090" thick.
If you are using a 20-30 MOA base with a 56mm objective you should probably consider the Seekins .92" medium-high rings, especially if you want to run thicker caps like Aadlands.

I might be wrong, but I thought the OP was regarding the new Tikka CTR using the TRG magazines? The one pictured by Nomad has a forend Beavertail too, the new CTR has the 'lite' forend.

Is that time reference in regards to new orders (for the .260's)? Or is that for all the .260's already ordered?
Copy. I have one on deposit as well. Guess we'll see when the .308's start to ship, if any .260's ship...
