New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Is there an AR15 front sight that clamps around the head of a TLR-1 head (if light is mounted in 12 o'clock position) that works with standard AR rear sights?
If any of you get the Blue Force Gear catalogs, there is a fella in there that appears to have a setup like this.
there is a mount that clamps to the front sight and allows the TLR-1 on at a 3 or 9 oclock position. not finding the one you mean on the site. not very well laid out
If it's a Vickers setup, it's likely a Daniel Defense AR-15 Lite Rail 12.0 FSP setup. Larry Vickers uses this setup extensively. There is a rail that encapsulates the FSP.

It was my idea... I made one from an old ring half and elbow grease. I tried talking Vltor into making them. If I had manufacturing resources at my disposal, I'd build them. Mine was for the x300.
I hand filed it to make it the correct height compared to my reddot. Windage is super easy to adjust on it. If I had the manufacturing ability, it would looks something like this. (Something I modeled up really quick)
