IR HUNTER THERMAL SCOPE

The IR HUNTER has been designed and built by a team of shooters that has been delivering great thermal sights, industry-wide, for 20 years. They passionately demand reliability and precision from their optics when putting rounds down range no matter the weather conditions, nor the time of day. This drive and commitment lead them to make the best possible thermal scope, and, they did it! It was achieved, 100% here in the USA, and without compromising quality or reliability. That would typically be enough; but the team went a step further, introducing the IR HUNTER thermal weapon sight to market at a highly competitive price.

IR HUNTER contains all the features and ergonomics you have wanted, combined into a sleek system made to securely fit onto your rifle. You should find comfort operating the IR Hunter’s Turret Knob controls as they are located where you expect them to be, same as your day optics. Button controls are nice; but in the dark, downrange, under fire, your natural instincts will appreciate the IR Hunter’s similarity to your day sight. They have also incorporated an advanced lens and EZ calibration system to reduce operator error and increase successful shooting.

One of the key strengths of the IR HUNTER is its advanced processing power which gives you a bigger and clearer image then other competing systems. Delivering super sharp detailed symbols and reticles combined with high precision adjusters allows you to simply sight in, and quickly make the ballistic corrections the shot demands. More precision, more hits.

The IR Hunter uses its processing power to deliver precision sighting reticles. These reticles scale as you zoom the same as a first focal plane reticle does on a high end rifle scope! Each IR Hunter comes programed with three different reticles for the shooter to choose from: Thermal Combat Reticle (TCR), Thermal Dot Reticle (TDR), and Thermal Subtension Reticle (TSR).

Another interesting feature found in the IR Hunter is Enhanced Target Recognition (ETR). Thermal systems work very well at night, but there are situations where they have difficulty. When the horizon or sky is behind a target is one of the classic examples of this. With the ETR mode, the entire gain settings for the thermal sensor are applied to the target area inside the yellow box, giving you a perfect image inside the ETR window.

The IR Hunter has a unique system for focusing the DFC Digital Focus Control feature. This allows you to focus the system and its image enhancing processing, it takes your normal thermal image to the nest level; making a 320×240 look like a 640×480 system.

With most thermal sights, you have a white hot and black hot polarity mode which can be switched back and forth to find the best image. The IR Hunter features the new MaxPol Multiple Polarity Control mode that gives you 3 levels of white and 3 levels of black hot so you can get the best image in both!

30Hz for the MKI's.

The new MKII 640's will be 60Hz and a selectable 30Hz to conserve batteries.

Here is an man image at 1,000 yards with a 50mm MKI. The 35mm will look the same at 700 yards and the 19mm will at 400 yards. The new Mark II 35mm will look the same as the 50mm because of the 12um and the core is better performance.

Man the MKII sounds too good to be true. I suppose if the IR Hunter 320 (mkI) is any indication it will live up to the hype. Vic do you know if that picture is day or night?

Just ordered a Mk1, 320,35mm. I think another thread indicated these were shipping with a DVR output cable? Any recommended DVR/record device for these? Looking forward to getting it in the field!

Looking for a good source on a DVR+Cable for the Mk1 IR Hunter. I've searched for some time and there's not a lot of information on the unit and compatible devices. Thanks.
