I know this is going to sound kind of sacreligious, but is it a wise thing for military spotters to paint their spotter rifles? I know that it is the cool 'Delta Dan' thing to do, and it does make you blend in better on stalks, but in the fight we are currently in does it make sense?
I can't speak for the LEO side of the house, but for your military spotter, I just wonder if it makes sense for them to be painted up, especially if you have to roll with the line-dogs since usually that is the only weapon you are issued. Your thoughts please.
