using Burris Sig. rings with inserts, do you use the thicker insert in the rear or front ring?

    thanks.

Re: To raise the point of impact...

Thicker in the rear ring so as to angle the line of sight downward in relation to the bore.

Re: To raise the point of impact...

Thicker in the rear down = thicker in the front up

    There is no difference

Re: To raise the point of impact...

only the inserts between the scope and lower ring make a difference. so, thicker under the rear, thinner under the front.

Read the directions that came with them. It does not matter if you put them in the front or the rear. But make sure you use the right ones.Look at the ones you have, a - and a + #. Keep them together. Do not use them with a 0 deg in the same ring. #'s stay together, don't mix them up. You will crush the tube if you mix them up.
