Spent a few hours in the woods doing some acitivities. Just thought I'd share. I do it for the deer.

Cleaned up some trails.

Last years perennial food plot.

This years unplanted food plot. Finally dry enough to plant.

Then a yote track I found, and a turkey egg in the middle of the field.

Its always nice to get away and spend some time in the woods, even when you're not hunting. I just planted my food plot this afternoon. First time trying it so we'll see how it goes. Do you spray anything on your food plots after they start to come up?

Normally we just mow it once or twice. This year were gonna try sprinkling some Delta-Ag powder mix on the seed before planting. Then with the Delta-Ag liquid mix and spray it this summer and see how that works. Its fun, and definitely is helping the deer herd.
