Too good to be true? FN PBR

I have a chance to buy an FN PBR with an IOR Valdada 4-14x50 mil-dot scope and the guy has it priced at $1200. I have no ex with the IOR scope but a quick search leads me to believe it is in the $800-1000 range. Is there any of them running around that are cheap knockoffs or do you think the guy just doesn't know what he has? It would be a 2 hour drive for me to go see the rifle so I wanted to get someone else's take on the situation before I did that.

IMO. This setup can be had new for 1800-1900. Guessing this is not new and depending if "HE" bought it new or used 1200-1500 is not that surprising. 1200 is a good price if they are in good condition......worth taking a look but ask him if he bought it new or used from someone else. Good luck!
