Just beginning in the reloading game and I found a load that seems to work for my DPMS SASS. I shot 4 different loads and found that 41.5 grains varget works the best with 168 bthp. My question is, is this load too light for longer distance? I don't know velocity, but want something to shoot out to 600. I plan on going to higher loads with my bolt gun, but I hate to push too hard with my SASS. Any suggestions?
