Too much neck tension

Ok, complete rookie here. Just started loading .308 and I have a question on neck sizing. I have run the brass through a full length sizing die, and now, I cannot push a bullet in by hand at all. My seater die pushes it in without much effort, but I honestly don't know how to tell if it is too tight.

It isn't too tight.
You shouldn't be able to push a bullet into case by hand.

You should never be able to push in a bullet with your hand. Typically .002" neck tensions works well. Scope this out The Rifleman's Journal: Basics: Neck Tension

Ok. thanks. I hate to have my first reload blow up my gun. I have loaded thousands of straight-wall pistol, but rifle is a whole new world. I;ll check out the article above.

I think most die builders will tell you .001" is the norm
