Looks like an F Class Tool,

Does it do Mils, what do you do when you are not using flags, how does this translate to using the MPH of the Rifle System to calculate the calls, it appears it can help you monitor the wind vs recording the data and doing it manually but it seems pretty old school, like circa 1978 in your hand.

Great questions! Thank you for asking.

- Currently it only does MOA, but Mils and metric distances are on the product roadmap and will be coming shortly.
- if you don't have flags, you'll either need to use other wind indicators or an anemometer and enter the wind velocity. The flags section of the screen is a slider control for entering wind from 0 to 20 MPH, the velocity is shown just above the flags so you can easily enter the value from your kestrel or your best guess
- the MPH's you see on the screenshot is the wind velocity, not the bullet velocity

The application uses ballistics for your ammunition and supports multiple load profiles.

The app works by allowing the shooter to enter the wind velocity (flags control) and the wind angle (clock dial) and it calculates the absolute correction (green dot on scale at bottom) as well as the correction +/- 15 degrees of the input direction (blue dots) and +/- 1.5 MPH of the input wind velocity (red dots). This information represents a "bracket" to shoot within. It also shows you those you what the size of that bracket is on the target, to scale.

The application comes with a library of target rifle and f-class mid and long range targets. A feature we're considering adding are IPSC steel targets in standard dimensions.

The purpose of the app is to help shooters learn wind reading by showing interactively how angle and velocity interplay by interactively changing the parameters. Then as you shoot and plot shots, it also records the wind angle and velocity so you can see how your conditions develop over time, as well as help you identify predominant conditions. Another feature in the works is to output the actual correction needed if the shot lands left or right of center.

here you go:
not from this product but from another, ive spoken about before on other threads...dont want to derail

WIND INDICATORS: TACTILE, NATURAL AND VISUAL

0-1 MPH/ 0-1.5 KPH:
Wind is imperceptible.
No grass or leaf movement.
Smoke rises straight up.
Mirage runs vertical/boils.

1-2 MPH/ 2-3.5 KPH: Cooling effect of wind may be noticed.
Light movement of grasses.
Only a few leaves on any given tree are in motion.
Mirage begins to lean to 12:30 or 11:30.

3 MPH/ 5 KPH: Wind pressure can be felt on bare arms.
Grasses are obviously in motion.
All leaves on any given tree in light motion.
Mirage leans to 1:00-1:30 or 10:30-11:00.

4 MPH/ 6.5 KPH: Wind pressure can be felt on face.
Small twigs bearing leaf clusters begin light motion.
Mirage leans to 1:30-2:00 or 10:00-10:30.

5 MPH/ 8 KPH: Tips of smaller branches that hold leaf limbs begin motion.
Mirage leans to 2:00-2:15 or 9:45-10:00.

6 MPH/ 9.5 KPH: The trunk branches start to move. These are the heavy limbs holding the smaller branches.
Mirage leans to 2:15-2:30 or 9:45-9:30.

7 MPH/ 11 KPH: Larger (trunk) limbs begin motion.
Young (softer) leaves begin to flip over on windy side of trees.
Mirage leans to 2:30 or 9:30.

8 MPH/ 13 KPH: Tree tops are in light motion.
Mature leaves flip over on windy side of trees.
Mirage leans to 2:45 or 9:45.

9 MPH/ 14.5 KPH: Tree tops show obvious movement.
Almost all leaves flip over.
Mirage leans to 2:45-3:00 or 9:00-9:15 and begins to run.

10 MPH/ 16 KPH: Wind pressure can be felt against the body.
Tree tops show substantial movement.
Mirage runs slowly and parallel to ground.

11 MPH/ 18 KPH: Mirage runs quickly along the ground, begins to break up.

12 MPH/ 19 KPH: Wind pressure can be felt against the body.
Mirage runs very quickly in sheltered places, mostly broken up in exposed areas.

12-15 MPH/ 19.5-24 KPH: Dust is raised.
Lighter debris moves around.
Mirage blows off completely in exposed areas.

15-20 MPH/ 24.5-32 KPH: Dust clouds blow around.
Debris blows around.
Smaller tree trunks sway.
Major limbs on larger trees are in constant motion.

20+ MPH/ 32.5 KPH+: One has difficulty walking.
Larger tree trunks sway.

also if you want to learn to wind I can sell you free tip - put thousands of rounds down range in a caliber and learn it. This computer BS will never make it to the firing line wind changes CONSTANTLY
