Friend recently got the XP8. Built like a tank and I kinda wanted one but the longer he has it, the more he dislikes. And may/may not be the phone but his calls now seem to drop more than than anyone else I know. I'm sticking w/ a rugged case.
I love this thing! Great call quality, great display and it's not Apple.

Been playing with this Sonim for a few days now and I like it a lot. Dunked it in the water for 10 minutes, dropped it a bunch, and no probs so far. Love the sound! Earset and speakers are phenomenal!
