TProblems with the VA

I remember maggots in open wounds when I worked in Atlanta's Grady Hospital in a homeless guy's ankle ulcers..cleanest wounds U ever saw..all they needed were skin grafts. In the early 20th ecentury maggots were put in wounds to cebride them. The maggots were covered with cheese cloth cage to prevent the flies from escaping after the maggot metamorphosis.

Also at Columbia U Hosp in NY, there were flies in the Medical ICU..traced to a comatose intubated guy with a necrotic mouth ulcer, not at all nice...
