I have a McMillan A5 in GAP camo that is open for trade/sale. I bought this stock from another member here earlier this year and love it however I find myself wanting a carbon fiber stock.

- McMillan A5 GAP camo R700 SA, standard fill I believe (bare stock weighs 3 lbs)
- has pillars and previously bedded for a rem 40x (my R700 fits in fine and shoots well)
- Left side flush cups front and rear, bottom flush cups front and rear, front bottom sling stud
- Barrel contour is large (I can measure on request) but my rem varmint barrel has tons of room in there
- M5 bottom metal cut, has Badger bottom metal in it now that could be included in trade

Trades: Manners PRS1-2 or elite hunter stocks. McMillan edge stocks. KRG 180-Alpha for Savage SA. I can add cash depending what you have.

Awesome stock! I have the same setup for 700 LA. With the scope and rings I’m at 13.6 lbs unloaded with the A5.

I don’t have a good scale so there’s some error here, but it weights right at 3 lbs when weighing myself with & without it on the bathroom scale. That’s the bare stock with no DBM

Mine’s heavy no doubt, but I’m frankly in better shape than most people and don’t mind. I usually take my 375hh bushwhacking with 20 rounds on my cull belt just for fun. It’s relative to what you’re doing. For a stand gun or bench gun, does it matter? Nah. My hunting buddies elk gun is around 7lbs...but guess what, my forearms will be bigger by the end of this season. The A5 is just fucking cool.
