Looking for hide feedback. As always, thanks for your time.

    Hypothetical scenario:

It’s the XYZ regional or national championship, or a big two day, or big one day Rimfire match (these big one and even two day matches are becoming more popular).

If we at the RO/Vudoo Rimfire Academy were to be on location for 2-3 days prior to the match, what courses and length of course would you be interested in?

    For example:

Half day/4hr clinics on positional/barricade shooting where you pay for a morning clinic or an afternoon clinic (you are welcome to purchase both of course)

Full day/8hr clinic on the above

Same thing, half or full day fundamentals clinics

Half day competition wind strategy (not necessarily wind reading, but a practical strategy approaching wind at a match)

Half day comp clinic (you are put on the clock and evaluated fairly constantly with time in between for tweaking things)

    Or

Full blown 2-3 day fundamentals course. Where you buy the complete package and it’s something like:

    Day 1 morning: fundamentals
    Day 1 afternoon: barricades/positions
    Day 2 morning: competition/wind strategy
Day 2 afternoon: comp clinic (under time with evaluations)

These would act as semi-train ups. However you would have no access or knowledge to the upcoming CoF. Just an opportunity for training since you’re already in the area.

    Considerations:

Half day specific clinics allow cheaper individual pricing as well as the opportunity for more shooters to participate.

Full blown train up allows for a more all around experience and learning for individual shooter. However, it limits the amount of shooters who can participate over the course of a few days.

    There’s also a hybrid option:

2 day full blown course that starts 3 days before match.
2 and 4 hour clinics throughout the day before the match

So, let’s hear from the hide. What interests you more? Feel free to discuss or throw out ideas. This endeavor is for the shooters. So we’ll do what is requested.

    Thanks

I think that a full 3 days before a 2 day match would make folks spent before the match and simply cost to much in terms of time

The half day clinic right before a match seems like a perfect option of fine tuning and refreshing the skills needed for the match, without burning out the student. After a half day clinic they’ll be peaking energy wise from stage one

Half day clinics for people attending the match but not competing in the match.
