Hello fellow Hide Members! I was wondering what is the usual fee for shipping a rifle? Lets say 12-18lbs. Does your FFL charge by weight or a flat fee? And also what are the transfer fees you guys are paying? I know alot of people paying $50 for transfers and I wanted to know if thats the norm. Thanks and happy shooting!

My ffl guy does transfers for $25 + actual shipping.

If I remember right, I paid the seller gun + actual shipping and my recieving FFL $25 transfer fee.

The FFL doesn't usually get involved with the shipping fees. You simply pay them to the seller.
Pay your FFL a fee to do the transfer only. Typically $25-$30.
