Tremor3 users,

So I ‘ve been reading and watching some videos on the Tremor3 reticle and it got me thinking about it’s usefulness in bullets that are affected by wind alot, like a .22 rimfire. When the wind is gusting and your trying to make a 200 yard shot it sure seems like the wind dots would come in handy by immediately being able to adjust your aim when the wind changes from say 3 to 12 mph. I ran the numbers in Strelok and came up with the dots for SK Standard would put each wind dot as 2.85 (3mph) . So you could adjust from using the 1st to 4th dot on the fly. Thoughts on its usefulness in .22 prs/nlr rifle type matches?

I've had similar thoughts. I have a Leupold Mark 5 HD with the Tremor 3. It doesn't have a useful parallax for 22 matches, but I have been impressed with its helpfulness in making wind calls. And the floating center dot would be killer for the small targets.

On the flip side, the reticle is also too busy, too many lines and dots sometimes. Dthomas has a good point.

Still, it's an interesting thought. I'd like to see something an Athlon APRS2 with Tremor 3 wind dots.
