Gunsmithing TRG-42 barrel thread

Can anyone tell me what is the major diameter and pitch of the thread at the breech end of a Sako TGR-42 barrel?

Pitch is M18x1. Don't know the diameter.

That's the muzzle end. Need the breech but thanks for trying.

I guess I could have done more than give it a quick glance. I have an extra '42 barrel somewhere but couldn't find it to measure for you, maybe it's at the shop. Good luck.

I know your not asking for this but I just measured my Factory take off .308 TRG 22 barrel and it has the following measurements.
Thread od, 26.77mm
Thread pitch, 1.5mm
Shank dia right before threads, 29.30mm.
It will be interesting to see how these compare to a TRG 42

Thanks for that. Sounds about right considering the barrel measures about 29.5mm at the face of the receiver. 26.77mm is really close to the middle of the tolerance for an M27 x 1.5 - 4g6g thread.
