Picked up a KRG spigot this week and in order to install I have to take off the factory sling bracket. Its held in place with two very shallow flat head screws.

so after the Packers loss I figure I would install my mount, should of just gone to bed.

front screw wont budge, soaked it in liquid wrench and now have a stripped screw head up front.

well I have access to a mill and have an idea of which way I am going to attack it, just wondering if anyone has had the same issue.

I don't care about the sling bracket just want to keep chassis in pristine condition

    Thanks for the help

Heat em up with a torch, they are loctited in. Also use a "good" flat head screw driver like a snap-on that won't mangle the screw.

Thank you sir, I owe you a beer.

My screw driver was good, just needed the heat....
