TRG 42 magazine

Does anyone know if a Sako TRG 42 - 300 win mag magazine will fit into a 338 Lapua magazine well? Thinking about a possible switch barrel / switch bolt TRG.

Or if someone with a TRG 42 300 win mag could post the length of the magazine body it would greatly help.

Cwinston, don't know if the 300wm mag will fit in the 338 however the external dimensions of the 300wm mag are:
length - 97.47mm / 3.8375"
width - 25.24mm / 0.9940"

Thanks, they look to be real close. Probably within the tolerance for bent sheet metal.

I think I will order one. If it doesn't work out I'm sure I can find a buyer for it in the PX.
