Can a TRG-22 be converted to 6.5 Creedmore? I know that the barrel can be swapped, but is there a bolt face issue? I just love the the ergo's of the TRG's, otherwise I would just get a custom and be done with it.

Thanks,

Yes it will work fine. I'm the same way really like the TRG ergo so I have rebarreled 22's in calibers Sako does not offer. The 260 they did offer close enough to the CM so my 6.5 factory. A big + on rebarrel with premium barrel is they will generally shoot better than a factory rifle which is saying something .

I have a Benchmark Barrels built TRG in 6.5 Creedmoor. I absolutley love it!!! No problems swapping it whatsoever... The 10 round mags only hold 9 though... but get 2 of em and you'll be set

Bolt face is the same. Have the smith mark the barrels and you can have a switch barrel.

Easily done.... My 6.5CM is better... Let the fighting begin

Great option there. A .308 for practice and break out and screw on the 6.5 Creedmoor when shooting a match or in need of a flatter shooting round that's better in the wind.
