I have a new TRG 22 .308 that has an occasional misfire due to a light primer strike. I can tell that the strike is light by the sound. I have read when this happens, that the 2nd stage of the trigger is set to low. Other ideals or comments?

Re: TRG Light Primer Strike

Get out the metric allen wrenches and turn up the trigger weight.

I have mine at .8 lb first stage and 2.2 lb 2nd stage.

Re: TRG Light Primer Strike

Just to add info on a working trigger weight.
My first stage is at 1lb, and it breaks at 1 lb. 14 oz.
If that turns out not to be the problem, ensure that you are seating your primers all the way.
