Is it possible to adjust/modify the TRG trigger to remove the miles of first stage travel? yet still have it be reversible (back to OEM when wanted).

I just have a problem understanding the extremely long travel of the first stage. I'm surprised that Sako didn't add that type of adjustment to the trigger anyway. It appears it would be easy to do, and the first stage basically appears to do nothing within the trigger housing except lead up to stage two. It would be nicer if it were adjustable.

There is no travel adjustment on the first stage, just weight.
I have a couple of CG triggers which are adjustable for 1st stage travel but I have them set up to match the TRG as to me it's pretty well perfect.
Try adding a little weight to the first stage pull and see if it improves the feel for you. If you increase it to any great degreee though you should increase the weight of the second stage as word is that having them set too close can cause problems.
