So I just picked up a Sig kilo 2200 and I went online to look into a tri-pod adapter and holy shit batman, $80 for a piece of aluminum with a 1/4-20 hole tapped in the bottom. Has anyone thought about making one out of a polymer? I don't think this needs to be metal. For $80 I might just design something and get it 3-d printed. Does anyone know of an alternative?
