Trigger for savage target action

Whats the best trigger out there that can be put on a savage target action? I am going to benchrest shoot with it, so an adjustment down to 2-4 oz is desired. Thanks

I hear Sharp Shooters Supply makes a good one, but the wait is long.

I think that they only go down to 12 ounces. Does anyone know if the rifle basix sav-2 will work?

I have both. The Sav-2 is ok but the SSS trigger is much better. The Rifle Basix was hard to make the safety work reliably at less than a pound

Had a SSS on the model 10 and I liked it very much. Pretty easy to install and adjust.

It's been a while, but I dont remember much of a wait for mine.

SSS makes 2 differant triggers the comp trigger get as low as 12 oz and is under $100. And the Evolution trigger which get down to the 2-3 oz but must be installed by them along with a action true job. I have handled both and they are both nice.
